Ben is Practical Photography’s group editor and the brains behind the operation. You won’t see him in front of the camera too often, but he’s always pulling the strings behind it.

Richard is a hugely experienced fashion photographer and tutor and is rarely seen without a Leica in his hands. He also happens to be Practical Photography’s deputy editor.

Practical Photography’s features editor is an award-winning journalist and fine art connoisseur who loves to push the creative envelope. Has been known to swim in ice-cold water in the name of art.

Kirk is a walking encyclopaedia – no camera, lens or technique is too obscure. He’s also Practical Photography’s gear editor, which means that he gets to play with all the latest kit before anyone else.

Practical Photography’s very own Adobe-certified Photoshop ninja, Dan is also a talented wildlife and travel enthusiast. Can often be found in camouflaged hides waiting for kingfishers to perch.

Jake is the videographer/creative genius behind the Photography Now videos. He shoots, edits and animates them, and occasionally appears in them too.
